During Ramadan, water should not stand in front of mosques and Nighban bazaars, MD Vasa

Faisalabad(94 News City Reporter) Vasa Managing Director Saqib Raza has warned that water should not stand in front of mosques and Nighban Bazaars during Ramadan. In this regard, special teams of operations officers should be formed to conduct special monitoring of public places. Presiding over a meeting, he said that providing quality drainage and water supply services to the citizens during Ramadan is the first mission for which all resources will be utilized. Any kind of water should not accumulate in any mosques and other public places across the city, including Nighban Bazaars, otherwise strict action will be taken against the concerned officers and staff. MD Wasa further said that special measures should be taken for immediate redressal of grievances during the fasting month and the time frame for redressal of any grievance should not exceed the stipulated time frame. He clarified that the O&M Directors should ensure the attendance of their subordinate officers and staff and conduct field visits so that there is no incident in the performance of the staff. MD Wasa further said that cameras should be installed and security guards must be posted at all disposal stations and if any theft occurs at a disposal station, O&M and administration officers will be responsible.
