Faisalabad (94 news) An alleged incident of blasphemy has taken place in Faisalabad's Jardanwala tehsil, in which a person named Salim Masih has desecrated the Holy Quran, as a result of which the angry people 4 The churches, Christian community, burned dozens of houses, cars and property.
Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad says that in view of the tense situation in Jaranwala, section across the district 144 has been implemented.
The Deputy Commissioner further says that until the complete restoration of law and order in the city and the situation returns to normal 144 will remain in effect.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar Haq Kakar condemned the incident and said that strict action will be taken against those who target minorities.
He said that I assure that the government will provide equal protection to all Pakistanis.
