Clean environment and necessary facilities should be ensured in General Bus Stand, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali said

Faisalabad(94 news) Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali has directed that a clean environment and necessary facilities should be ensured in the General Bus Stand so that the passengers have a pleasant experience. He issued this directive during the inspection of the General Bus Stand. Additional Deputy Commissioner(General) Mian Aftab Ahmed, Secretary RT A Zameer Hussain, Admin Officer Riaz Hussain Anjum, System Analyst Asim Ilyas and other officers were also present on this occasion.

The Deputy Commissioner inspected the cleanliness situation, the condition of passenger boxes, toilets and other facilities in the various sheds of the General Bus Stand. He directed that dirt, garbage should not be seen anywhere in the lorry station and special care should be taken for the essential facilities of the passengers. He directed to keep all the arrangements regarding sewerage system correct and security. The Deputy Commissioner directed to ensure high order and discipline at the General Bus Stand and said that these foot vehicles should be discouraged while the fares for different cities should be displayed at prominent places. He directed that overcharging and overloading should be dealt with strictly. Strict action should be taken against those who collect excessive fares. Secretary RTA informed the Deputy Commissioner about the facilities available for passengers at the General Bus Stand and other administrative matters.
