According to details, the High Court of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh declared the historic Kamal Moola Mosque as a temple of the Hindu goddess "Vag Devi" and allowed the Hindus to worship there, while rejecting the request of the Muslim side. This historic site in Dhar city, also known as the Bhojshala Complex, has been mired in controversy for decades. In its decision, the court relied on a report by the Archaeological Survey of India, which claimed that a Hindu temple existed before the mosque.

According to Arab media, after the verdict, saffron flags were hoisted at the Bhojshala complex and Hindu organizations installed a temporary statue of the goddess and performed religious rituals, amid tight security in the area.

The report states that the lawyers of the Muslim side have announced to file an appeal in the Supreme Court, calling the decision "against law and history". In the official notification of the British era of 1935, it was clearly mentioned that this is a mosque, it will remain a mosque in the future, however, the High Court of Madhya Pradesh did not accept this notification as prior to the existing laws.

On the other hand, Hindu organizations have termed the decision as a "victory of Hindu civilization" and said that after the Babri Masjid, Hindu nationalism has been further strengthened.
