Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) During the last six months, the FDA 55 Eighteen million rupees of dues have been recovered while vigorous recovery campaign is going on against defaulters of arrears. This was told during a meeting held on the instructions of Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry which was chaired by Additional Director General FDA Qaiser Abbas Rand. Director Town Planning Asma Mohsin, Directors State Management Junaid Hasan Manj, Sohail Maqsood Pannu, Deputy Director Finance Humira Ashraf, Deputy Director Development Waleed Khalid, Assistant Director Recovery Mian Akhtar and other officers were present in the meeting. The President's meeting reviewed the individual performance of all sectors, checked the recovery data and issued necessary instructions for further increase in revenue. It was informed on this occasion that during the first six months of the current financial year, State Management II 17 Crore 89 And 52 Thousand rupees, in Town Planning II 15 Crore 85 hundred thousand 51 Thousand Rupees, Eleven Crore Fifteen Lakhs in Estate Management One 39 Thousand rupees, eight crores in Town Planning One 63 hundred thousand 64 Thousand rupees, towards fines of the Court of Special Judicial Magistrate 22 One lakh eighteen thousand rupees, one crore twelve lakhs in slums 73 Thousand rupees, in the testing laboratory 15 hundred thousand 46 thousand rupees and in IT services 13 hundred thousand 97 A thousand rupees have been recovered. The president meeting expressed satisfaction over the overall situation of revenue recovery and said that by performing duties with seriousness, hard work and attention, the sources of income of the organization can be increased, therefore measures to increase revenue should be given top priority. While reviewing the individual performance of the revenue staff, he expressed anger at the slowness of some officials and ordered that the staff with poor performance should be held accountable. ADG while assigning targets for revenue recovery to various sectors said that effective and concrete strategies should be adopted to achieve satisfactory results. He directed to keep a close watch on the issues of commercialization of properties and to dispose of such applications received for approval without delay. In the meeting, the officers informed about the data of revenue collection in their respective sectors and the implementation of future steps for recovery.
