Arzoo Raja recovered, accused arrested, federal government decides to become a party

Karachi (94 news) Arzoo Raja was recovered and the person who allegedly performed the marriage has been arrested. Law Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister Murtaza Wahab said that Arzoo Raja has been recovered and shifted to the shelter house. In this regard, Federal Minister Shireen Mazari says that the court had ordered Arzoo Raja to be recovered and sent to Darul Aman.
My lawyer informed the court at the last hearing that the federal government has decided to become a party in the Arzoo Raja case.

During the hearing of Arzoo Fatima case, Advocate General Sindh had told the court that the police searched for the girl but she was nowhere to be found.

The girl's parents had requested the court to restore Arzoo and order her medical examination. On which the court remarked that first the girl recovers then they can order medical treatment. The court issued a notice to IG Sindh Police and others and ordered to recover Arzoo Raja and send the girl to a shelter house. 5 It was ordered to be presented in the court on the next hearing on November.
Speaking to the media earlier, Sindh opposition leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi said that there are many problems of minorities and human rights in Sindh. Sindh government will have to take practical steps to solve these problems. Child marriage is an atrocity. There is a law for child marriage which is clear, those who violate this law should be punished. All the facilitators of marriage of minor should be arrested. The SHO of the case should be suspended. We condemn this cruelty. I request the Chief Justice Sindh High Court to stop the cruelty against the minor girl.
