The delegation assured full support to the efforts of the government for the eradication of extremism, terrorism and sectarianism and socio-economic development of the country. Regarding the recent terrorism in New Zealand, the scholars said that no attempt was made to link this incident to any religion. He said that neither terrorism has any religion nor is it appropriate to associate it with any religion. He praised the behavior of the Prime Minister of New Zealand and his solidarity with the Muslim community. He said that scholars across the country not only reject the baseless propaganda against Muslims but also condemn those elements who malign the name of Islam for their nefarious purposes. During the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the reforms regarding the improvement of the education curriculum and the registration of Madrasahs on the part of the government. The delegation assured the Prime Minister of their full cooperation in this regard.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister informed the scholars about the details of the government's program for economic development, elimination of corruption and public welfare and the progress so far in this regard. He said that the establishment of law and order in the country and protection of life and property of the people is the first priority of the government. He said that at present the country is facing various challenges. Our effort is to strengthen the economy of the country which is very necessary for the development of the country.
