Mohsin Saleem Akhtar Chairman The Faisalabad Goods Carrier Association, Lala Ehsan in the delegation (Container Association), representatives of Cargo Association and Mazda Association were involved.
During the meeting, the security concerns, road safety and other issues faced by the transporters were discussed in detail. Various policy objectives for maintaining security alert were also discussed.
It was agreed to set up a joint action plan between the police and the transporters to promote vigilance in the transport sector. RPO Faisalabad assured the safety of the lives and property of the people associated with goods transport and said that practical steps will be taken to solve the security problems faced by the transport sector.
