PHA decides to take strict measures to control smog

There will be fines and action for setting garbage on fire within the boundaries of all parks

Faisalabad(94 news) PHA (Parks and Horticulture Authority) Air Quality Index in the city by(AQI) Various measures have been decided to improve and remediate smog.

During the departmental meeting of Director General Asma Ejaz Cheema and Chairman Mian Waris Aziz, important decisions were taken. 340 There will be a complete ban on setting garbage or green waste on fire at any place within the limits of the parks, fines and legal action will be taken in case of violation, while the safety of trees will be ensured in the urban limits and instructions have been issued to the PHA staff to be alert to prevent the cutting of trees. The General said that there are some specific types of trees that can be planted to reduce smog and improve air quality, and work on this is also going on rapidly and the plantation of these types will be started soon.
