According to the details, a petition related to the identification of defects in the BRT project was heard in the Peshawar High Court. The petitioner said that there is no pedestrian crossing in the BRT route, no proper drainage system, even there is no way for the ambulance. Justice Rooh Alamin remarked that your writ is adding salt to the wounds of the affected people, who started the project, now it is not their job to complete the project. The petitioner said that the Asian Development Bank has also reported that the track is not as per the design, the pillars are also not right, seven feet pillars have been built instead of four feet. The court while approving the writ for hearing has asked for a response from the provincial government, project director, PWD and PDA.
