Government employees' protest came to fruition, the government approved the salary hike

Lahore (94 news) The protest of the government employees of Punjab came to fruition. The Punjab government has approved an increase in salaries equal to that of the federation.

A meeting of the provincial cabinet was held under the chairmanship of caretaker chief minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, in which 35 percent in the salaries of government employees and 35 percent in pensions. 17 The percentage increase was approved. The increase in salaries and pension will be applied to the basic salary of the employees.

It should be noted that earlier Punjab government in the salaries of employees 30 had issued a percentage hike notification which was rejected by the Government Employees Union and EPCA.
