Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference, decision to keep educational institutions open and not to hold winter holidays

In the meeting of inter-provincial education ministers, it has been decided to keep educational institutions open in Punjab, Punjab Education Minister Murad Ras says that there will be no winter vacations in Punjab schools.

An online video conference was organized under the chairmanship of Federal Minister of Education Shafqat Mahmood, in which education ministers of all provinces including Punjab Education Minister Murad Ras participated.

In the current situation, the process of consultation regarding education is going on in the conference, meanwhile, Murad Ras said that the decision to keep schools open across the province has been maintained in the conference.

Education Minister Punjab Dr. Murad Raas said that schools across the province will remain open as per the schedule issued, all stakeholders should ensure implementation of SOPs and safety measures as much as possible.

He said that all the news about reopening of schools are false and baseless, the situation regarding corona virus is completely under control.

Dr. Murad Ras said that it is our first priority to keep students and teachers as safe as possible from this outbreak.
