The speed of revenue recovery from FDA defaulters should be accelerated, Mohammad Asif Chaudhry

Faisalabad(94 News City Reporter) Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry has ordered to speed up the revenue recovery and said to ensure the recovery of arrears by taking strict action against long-time defaulters and their properties should be sealed in case of non-payment. He instructed the Additional Director General Qaiser Abbas Rand to closely monitor the arrears recovery campaign and said that the revenue recovery targets should be reviewed on a daily basis and disciplinary action should be taken against the negligent staff. Ansari, Deputy Director State Management FDA City Adnan Shahzad, Assistant Director Recoveries Mian Akhtar and other officers were present. The Additional Director General, while reviewing the recovery of arrears in different periods, said that recovery of arrears from old defaulters should be done on a priority basis, in this regard, there is a need to adopt a comprehensive and solid strategy. He said that special attention should be paid to collecting fines imposed on illegal development in housing schemes while speeding up operations against illegal commercialization and sealing the properties of non-depositors of commercialization dues. He warned that apart from taking departmental action against those who demonstrate unsatisfactory performance in the recovery campaign, entries of poor performance will be made in their annual reports while the staff who meet the revenue recovery targets will be strongly encouraged.
