Al Jazeera quoted Iranian media as saying that Iran has confirmed the death of Mousavi and Nasirzadeh. IRNA says that Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Abdul Rahim Mousavi and Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh were killed in the US-Israeli strikes on Iran on Saturday.
