Assistant Commissioner City Faisal Ahmed visited Superstores, checking DC counters

Faisalabad(94 news) Assistant Commissioner City Faisal Ahmad visited various superstores and checked the availability, quality and implementation of fixed prices of essential items at the DC counter. He clarified that substandard items should not be available while the items should be sold at fixed prices. He warned that overcharging would not only result in heavy fines but also imprisonment. He also checked the prices of essential items in markets and bazaars of some areas. He reviewed the process of selling items according to fixed price lists and said that those who charge arbitrary prices should correct their Qiblah. He also inquired about the quality and prices of the goods from the customers present on the spot and said that the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner are being strictly implemented on the price control mechanism.
